So I’m an immunologist. I’m interested in how the immune system regulates itself and can either be protective or, in some cases, can cause disease itself. So I’m interested in multiple sclerosis because it’s a good example of how the immune system is driving damage to the body, in this case to the central nervous system which means to the brain or the spinal cord.
